While focussing on the most violent and extreme elements which present a threat to all Americans, the TeaParty supporters derided the government report as "biased" and "political propaganda". Sarah Palin doesn't want her M16 taken away.

--Sarah Palin, admitting that her family used to get treatment in Canada's single-payer health care system, despite having demonized such government-run programs as socialized medicine that will lead to death-panel-like rationing.

The Problem With Tea Party Politics: They don't make sense

To understand an organism you observe its behavior.  To understand the Tea Party is far more difficult.  The simple reason is that their words and their actions do not coincide.  

For instance the major principles of  the so called "Tea Party" are based on two basic premesis:

a)they hate President Obama

b)they hate anyone who doesn't hate President Obama,

When examining the Tea Party as a purely political phenomena their origin, contrary to their claims, is not rooted in the time revered ideals of the American Revolution.  Nor are they rooted in the political thoughts and ideals of such great personages as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Samuel Adams or even Alexander Hamilton.

The only correlation between the founding father's and Tea Party ideals is that while the founding fathers proclaimed independence and freedom for themselves, most of them owned slaves and continued to support campaigns of genocide to eradicate the North America Indians.  Therefore an inherent contradiction existed in politics then, as now: hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy is defined in the Websters dictionary as: "pretending to be what one is not, or to feel what one does not feel, especially virtue or piety."

Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and the rest of the GOP epitomize this definition.  While relentlessly attacking the policies of the current administration, they offer nothing new in the way of governance.  In fact Palin herself represents a regression to "good ol'boy -ism" of the last decades, embodied in the Bush I and Bush II administrations.  

While vague on American history, and totally blank on world history Palin embodies the America of yesterday.  An America attuned only to its national concerns and the advance of its agenda, no matter how destructive, unproductive or perilous.  She represents abandonment of hope and embracing narrow cynicism that is grossly embodied by the Tea Parties advocates.  

In lock step with her are the GOP drones on predesignated tactical missions contrived by GOP veterans like Carl Rove and Newt Gingrich, both of whom which helped launch a similarly 'down to earth' , 'compassionate conservative' (as if the two could exist in one the same context as they are mutually exclusive ideals): George W. Bush, the least likely of the Bush clan to achieve the title of President behind his father.  It was once said George W. Bush would never get the vote due to his being "rough around the edges": Karl Rove proved them wrong.    

Sarah Palin, her supporters and many GOP veterans are hoping for the same affect in the upcoming elections. In fact their betting on it: the power of middle white America in fear of being dislodged from their pedistol of privilege, this has shown to be a powerful tool of influence which in past elections has aided the GOP in defying the odds.

Thus we have a hood ornament, Sarah Palin, America's goof ball candidate for the 2008 elections, attempting to capitalize on her meteoric rise to fame, presenting herself as the gun toting all American patriot, semi-feminist, patriotic  and conservative as they get... without a clue as how to govern.

Her number one claim to fame is that in a moment of desperation the GOP needed a woman to balance the 2008 Republican ticket.  She was tapped, failed to impress and ended the race eating the Obama/Biden ticket.  Today she paints herself as the inheritor of the GOP mantle.  

The One.  A messianic Annie Oakley that will (like her predecessor) George W. Bush ride into Washington, slash spending, slash taxes, do away with "Obama Care" and reconcile our many foreign conflicts, all the while saving the economy from a perilous crash!  As decades in power have shown, the GOP is incapable of producing a candidate that will not govern at the expense of American liberties, and preservation of our national economic heritage.  She brings nothing new to the table: hence the hypocrisy.   

The sad truth however is that she destroyed any chance the GOP ever had of overcoming the Obama/Biden ticket in 2008, and a similar flaw in strategic decision making will yield  a similar result.  The world has already rejected her, as her lack of political savvy, and national appeal have boxed the GOP into another tight spot: 

To Palin or Not to Palin....that is the question????
